WAYHA TEAM PARENT MISSION
The job of the team parent it to connect the parents, kids, and the coaches in a professional and organized fashion throughout the Hockey season ensuring that practices, games, tournaments & WAYHA obligations are communicated efficiently and effectively.
WAYHA ORGANIZATION MISSION
Our mission statement is “winning on and off the ice one goal at a time.” WAYHA is a non-profit organization that is a member of the Region 3 Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association (WAHA). We offer hockey development for boys and girls ages 3-14. Our goal is to develop players in teamwork, sportsmanship, and character while having fun and developing lifelong friendships.
TEAM MANAGER

Each team will have a designated team manager. Team managers are chosen by the Wayha Head Team Parent. If you have interest in being the manager, please the WAYHA Head Team Parent. As a team manager you must register with USA hockey as a volunteer, Register with Wayha as a volunteer, complete a USA Hockey background check and complete SafeSport training. The responsibilities of the team manager will vary at each level through communication with the head coach but will generally include:
· (Mites Only) Scheduling Jamborees & White/Blue League home and away
· Confirm upcoming games and facilitate communication with Coach and game scheduler for any schedule adjustments
· Setting up team responsibilities for home games (concessions, penalty box, Zamboni, score clock, score sheet) and making sure they are fulfilled equally among the team
· Collecting calendar stubs and money and providing them to the calendar coordinator
· Booking hotel blocks for the away tournament/state weekend
· Be present and available throughout the home tournament weekend.
· Coordinate work slots, raffles, and swag for the home tournament weekend
· Ensure team families have fulfilled open skate and High School game obligations
· Communication between parents and coaches
